Amna Tariq is an artist based in Montreal, currently completing her BFA in Studio Arts at Concordia University. Her practice is a celebration of the quiet magic found in stillness and softness. Drawing on personal memory and the serene nature of animals, Amna crafts narratives around clandestine moments – those private, peaceful instances often lost in the bustle of daily life. Her work, which often features textured paintings, serves as an invitation to slow down, embrace calm, and find sincerity in the beauty of the overlooked.
